Facial Reflexology
Facial reflexology has all the benefits and principles of foot reflexology. It is deeply relaxing with immediate effects due to the close proximity to the brain and the central nervous system. The reflex points directly connect to the body’s neural pathways, allowing for an immediate response once stimulated.
The treatment improves circulation and nerve supply as well as releasing toxins. It also stimulates collagen and elastin which gives the effect of tighter, plumper more radiant skin.
I have been trained in facial reflexology and advanced facial reflexology at the London School of Reflexology by the award winning Ziggie Bergman, the founder of the Bergman Method of Facial Reflexology.
What to expect?
You will be asked to remove your shoes and recline on a couch. As with foot reflexology, a full medical consultation will be taken on your first appointment with a less detailed one on subsequent appointments. The face will then be cleansed and an oil applied whereby the facial reflexology treatment will begin. This is a form of massage and light compression techniques to work all the reflex points of the face. The experience is one of deep relaxation.
For those wanting a more traditional facial, this technique can be incorporated into a holistic facial using award winning Temple Spa products. Facial includes a double cleanse, a mask, toner, serum and moisturiser and a relaxing facial reflexology routine for plumper more radiant skin.
Both treatments can be stand alone or combined with foot reflexology.
